NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE YOU JUST HAVE TO WANT IT MORE.
I know you’ve got talent. I’m not sure where you’re hiding it – up your sleeves, under your shoe, below your belt (though if it’s below your belt, I’m not so sure that’s the talent I’m talking about…)
My guess is that you might have it tucked away in your heart. This is my message to you to…
I’m crying right now.
Why you ask?
Because despite the fact that Inception is getting shafted at the Golden Globes… despite the fact that I’ve had to sit through this joke of a television program for almost 6 hours now…
DESPITE ALL OF THAT
Joe got the come out and present the montage of Inception, a film he’s in and performs flawlessly in. He got to come out in his dapper suit and REC button and be 100% natural while doing so. He got to come out and tell all of the silly fucks in the room exactly how brilliant Inception really is and how it challenges its audience instead of just entertaining it. It was a beautiful moment. I don’t even care how silly that may sound to some of you, but it was.
This is why I love him, aside from all of the squealing about how gorgeous his is.
It doesn’t matter if its some press interview, hitRECord or the Golden Globes. He’s the most gracious creature when it comes to things he’s passionate about and that’s what makes him one of my favourite people on the planet. ♥
sister: Do you realise that 20 years ago it was 1990?
me: Actually, 1991
sister: still…it’s been 20 years…
me: yeah, we didn’t know it, but mom would be dead 3 months later.
sister: yeah, I can’t believe it.
son: huh?
me: your grandma was still alive this time 20 years ago.
son: oh, ok.
There is such a void in my life without the woman that I lost when I was 11 years old, 20 years ago. She is missed and loved everyday. My dad never re-married. He said that she has no replacement. I miss my mom.
